The General Manager is the director for the total operation of the Hotel possessing the following essential job functions, knowledge, skills and abilities:
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel including, but not limited to, hiring, training, budgeting, sales, guest satisfaction, associate satisfaction, owner satisfaction, revenue management, and timely reporting.
Proactive, detail oriented, and hands on management style with the ability to assess needs, identify problems and devise workable solutions.
Candidates for General Manager must have a minimum of 7 years hotel management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsible to create implement a cohesive Hotel Marketing Plan including Direct Sales, Advertising, Marketing, Revenue Management, Ecommerce and online Reputation Management. Ability to build relationships with key accounts.
Oversee and implement all revenue management strategies of the hotel.
Responsible for exceeding all guest satisfaction benchmarks.
Responsible for developing, coordinating, and oversight of all property renovations programs, preventive maintenance and housekeeping of hotel. Coordination of all capital improvement projects to maintain/upgrade quality standards and property image.
Ability to study, analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information in order to improve new practices or develop new approaches.
Ability to lead a diverse team o leaders to drive hotel and Company Brand Experience.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships in the community.
Ability to supervise, train and motivate multiple levels of managers.
Ability to create a cohesive Hotel Business Plan
A Florida State Condominium Association License is preferred. All potential candidates that do not have a Florida State Condominium Association License must be able to obtain one after hire.

Sailport is Tampa’s only all-waterfront all-suite resort in Tampa located on beautiful Rocky Point.

General Manager will also work closely with the Corporate Director of Operations, Corporate Director of Sales & Marketing, Board of Directors of the Condominium, corporate office, unit ownership of the property and other disciplines to ensure appropriate accountability in guest and employee relations, owners, management of risk, internal financial and operational controls, budget, as well as protection and growth of the property.
General Manager will oversee all management aspects of the condominium. The General Manager will be expected to maintain cordial and professional open lines of communication with the Condominium Association, Board of Directors and all Condominium Owners. A Florida State Condominium Association License is preferred. All potential candidates that do not have a Florida State Condominium Association License must be able to obtain one after hire.
The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the hotel operation in meeting or exceeding the financial and marketing objectives.
