    Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Able to prepare a wide variety of bread products from scratch
    • Develop, plan, organize, and conduct formal training sessions for bakery staff
    • Plan, coordinate, and supervise the work activity through the day
    • Determine production and ensure the accuracy, quality, and consistency of food
    • Maintain inventory of foods and supplies for area of assignment and maintains controls over these areas
    • Able to spot problems and solve them quickly and efficiently
    • Maintain a level head and delegate many kitchen task simultaneously
    • Maximize the productivity of kitchen staff
    • Maintain impeccable personal hygiene as well as high work and safety standards
    • Actively participate in menu planning and the introduction of new products that meet established standards of quality and innovation
    • Responsible for creation of all bread-related goods applicable to the bakery menu
    • Set an example for staff
    • A passion and love for food and service must be evident
    • Computer literacy
    • Responsible for creation of all bread-related goods applicable to the bakery

    Education and Experience:

    • Minimum of three years in a hotel, restaurant, or other comparable entity bakery
    • At least one year in a lead role
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Culinary degree from accredited university preferred

    Experienced  Bakers ONLY

    Must have at least 3 years (RECENT) experience

    $40,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year

    Located in picturesque Upstate New York

    We are looking for a talented and relocatable Artisan Baker with experience for our Upscale, Luxurious Lakeside Resort in a Historic Location east of Albany in Picturesque Upstate New York.

    Our Client is looking for a qualified individual to join our culinary team and lead our bread Bakers. an Artisan Bread Baker. The individual should be passionate about their craft with the ability to be creative in a fast-paced environment. This position is part of our Pastry team and will have the capacity to cross train. Lead the bakery in the production of high quality artisan bread utilizing starters, low leaven and long fermenting, and high-quality Flours & Grains. Multi-functional high-volume operations serving both Ala Carte, Banquets and the ability to offer Products for Retail sales as well
