    Dining Room Supervisor

    We're looking for a team player to join the Forum at Knightsbridge, a Five Star Senior Living Company, that provides independent senior living, assisted living, memory care, health care and rehabilitation. 

     The successful candidate will supervise dining service activities in our community's main and private dining rooms in two buildings following budgetary guidelines while maintaining or exceeding Five Star hospitality and service standards.

     Prior experience and training in safe food handling techniques and food services principles is essential.  A minimum of two years prior food service supervisory experience in a restaurant setting and knowledge of plate presentation and front of house service is required.

     Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English orally and in writing with Food Service Director, Dining Room Manager, co-workers, residents, and visitors.

    Candidate must be computer literate.  ServSafe certification is preferred and prior experience working with a senior population in a health care or skilled care setting is a plus.

    The successful candidate will organize and oversee schedules and assist with the coordination for all activities including the supervision of a staff of 30 food service team members while maintaining positive employee relations and practices.

    The Dining Room Supervisor will assist with on-the-job training and on-going coaching to the team to ensure that all employees are properly trained to perform their duties according to Five Star hospitality and service standards.   Successful candidate must be able to multi-task and have the ability to make decisions and work independently.  The Dining Room Supervisor should have the ability to move freely around the campus.    This position is full time and requires a flexible schedule to include weekend and evening availability.
