    Requirements:

    We are currently seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing for one of the global leaders in the hospitality industry at a new property opening in Cincinnati, OH (relocation assistance is an option). Salary is $100,000 and negotiable depending on experience and bonus plan. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a lifestyle hotel with convention/conference experience in an upscale property (4 or 5 stars preferred). Hotel property opening experience is a huge plus! The Director of Sales and Marketing role is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the sales and marketing organizations within the company. By understanding the industry and economic trends, you will be able to accurately forecast for the teams, and lead the teams' strategies for success. 

     

    Responsibilities

    • Develop sales strategies to achieve business and sales goals
    • Provide coaching to sales managers on the company's sales strategies
    • Monitor industry trends and market competitors to support sales goals
    • Assist marketing team in developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns
    • Provide forecasts to leadership for sales and marketing organizations


    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant area
    • 7+ years' managing teams
    • Lifestyle hotel experience with convention/conference experience in an upscale property (4 to 5 stars).
    • Hotel property opening experience is a huge plus!
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
