    The modern and inviting Parc 55 San Francisco is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee our stylish 3-meal restaurant and bar, Cable 55. The Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for the restaurant's dinner service, as well as occasional evening Banquet functions. As such, this is a PM shift, 2:30PM-midnight. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of supervisory or management experience at a full-service stand-alone or hotel restaurant, strong organizational skills, and the proven ability to lead a team in offering outstanding service to guests.

    What will I be doing?

    • Direct and organize the activities of the Food & Beverage department to maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, service, and marketing, maximizing profits through outstanding customer service.
    • Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
    • Implement effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
    • Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.

    What are we looking for?
    • Minimum 1 year of supervisory or management experience in a full service restaurant environment
    • Hotel and/or union experience preferred
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Proven ability to successfully lead a team in providing exceptional guest service
    • Open availability to work varying days beginning at 2:30pm
    • Local candidates strongly preferred
