    A Host Person with Hilton Hotels and Resorts is responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

    Different Pointe of View Restaurant is a distinct and unforgettable Phoenix dining destination that over its 31 year history has evolved into a culinary experience just as memorable as its stunning views atop North Mountain in Phoenix at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort and Spa.

    Schedule is primarily afternoons starting at approximately 2 PM until Close. Open Tue - Sat (some exceptions on Sundays and Mondays for special events)

    The ideal candidate will have prior host/hostess experience preferably in fine dining with excellent customer service, communication, team,multitasking and general computer and administrative skills.

    What will I be doing?

    Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

    • Welcome guests and ascertain their dining needs
    • Seat guests and manage the seating chart
    • Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow
    • Perform opening and closing duties, as needed
    • Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
    • Ensure knowledge of menu
    • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
    • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
