Job schedules in this category include: morning & evening cook (#1, #3). An employee might be trained for one or both positions.
* Reports to Supervisor, Foodservice Director and Dietitian (Department Manager).
Responsibilities - General:
1.Policy and Procedure: Follow hospital-wide and departmental policies and procedures, follow personnel policies, be accountable for assigned duties, keep patient information and personnel information confidential, and understand the Patient's Bill of Rights.
2.Interpersonal Skills: Communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and recognize problems and seek assistance. Accept direction from supervisor with a positive attitude.
3.Education: Participate in required hospital-wide training events.
4.Quality Improvement: Contribute to the success of the organization by participating in councils, task forces, and committees as needed and requested. Quality of work will be characterized by striving for excellence in every task. The amount of work completed will be appropriate and reasonable.

1.Education: High School graduate or equivalent. Must be able to read & write English. Must be able to perform basic math skills, and accurately weigh & measure ingredients for recipes.
