    It is the primary responsibility of Head Cashier to audit, monitor and reconcile the front desk cashiering transactions.

    • Verify Paid Outs are appropriately posted and slips were completed correctly.
    • Reorganize Cummins Report to view Front Desk Cash Drops guests.
    • Use Cash Transaction and Cash Drop Reports to identify any cashiering variances.
    • Verify correct charges and credits are posted to guest's folio.
    • Reconcile and apply Credit Card Authorization Forms to guest's reservations.
    • Research all billing discrepancies and guest inquiries.
    • Monitor all Posting Master accounts and ensure proper usage (“PM's).
    • Post all manual charges to guest folios. (Bell desk, spa and restaurant charges).
    • Monitor the over credit report and ensure proper authorizations are applied to guest accounts.
    • Communicate with Corporate entities of adjustments, PM's and various transactions are accounted for.
    • Reconcile compensation transactions for the Hotel Division.
    • Ensure all skips are correct and sent to A/R.
    • Research all subpoenas and correspond with legal.
    • Audit all reservation routing to the appropriate accounts.
    • Monitor front desk clerk compensation transactions and report to management.
    • Perform all other job related duties as requested.

    Required:

    • At least 1 year of previous front desk clerk experience.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Able to lead and mentor a team.
    • Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Working knowledge of OPERA.
    • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms.

    Preferred:

    • At least 2 years of previous front desk clerk experience.
    • Strong cashiering history.
    • Bilingual.
    • Previous experience in a similar resort setting.
