    It is the primary responsibility of the Sales Site Inspection Manager is to assist in conducting site inspections for group business with function space and food & beverage events.  All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Mandalay Bay & Delano policies, practices, and procedures.

    • Coordinates site inspections for Sales Managers, National Sales Manager & Directors securing group business composed of 250 or more rooms per night including creating site route, communicating with internal departments assist in decor selection, assist in menus selection, researching potential clients key needs, providing creative input while maintaining proper budget based on group qualification.  
    • Provides creative input and direction in the development of sales presentations, site guides, and sales videos ensuring proper representation of Mandalay Bay and Delano.
    • Organizations familiarization trips by working with internal departments, sister properties and companies, highlighting key benefits of the Mandalay Bay and Delano properties while maintain a reasonable budget.
    • Coordinates on-and-offsite client events on behalf of Sales Department including securing venue, menu selection, and maintaining proper representation of Mandalay Bay and Delano. 
    • Provides input into and executes the development, implementation, and measurement of guest service standards within assigned department(s) consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes.
    • Participates in the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes to ensure Mandalay Bay's and Delano's competitive position and in anticipation of changing customer needs within the dynamic hospitality/gaming environment.
    • Performs all other job related duties as requested.


    • At least 3 years in the hotel industry, at a 4-5 star property.
    • At least 2 years of work experience in hotel/convention sales.
    • At least 2 years of previous sales experience in a similar Resort/ Hotel Industry setting.
    • At least 2 years of experience working with large groups of 250 or more rooms.
    • Previous experience utilizing automated Sales/Catering system, Daylight.
    • Excellent customer skills.
    • Able to lead and mentor a team.
    • Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
    • Professional appearance and demeanor.
    • Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Must be proficient in PC software (Daylight, Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Daylight and Microsoft Exchange).
    • Able to effectively communicate in English, in both in written and oral form.


    • College degree in Hospitality, Business Management or Finance.
    • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
