    As a Sales Associate, you will help to acquire and contract hotel booking requirements from targeted corporate companies in an assigned market/region territory. You will promote the CWT Hotel Booking Portal to acquire hotel volumes as well as penetrate higher yield hotel margin growth. Additionally you will be responsible for the following:

    Sales Pipeline Management
    • Build, maintain and manage a prospective customer database as agreed with the (Senior Sales Manager). This pipeline will include customers in assigned market
    • Conduct regular calls and meetings with client owners to support and advise on hotel solutions.
    • Cultivate relationships among buyers, especially among travel procurement and operations experts in corporate settings

    Account Management
    • Participate in client meetings as the Hotel SME. Organize demos of hotel products, both online and mobile.
    • Influence clients on new initiatives to increase their hotel attach rate.
    • Grow clients penetration of higher yield rates to CWT
    • Form partnerships and share information with TMC and M & E Business Development teams to leverage cross-selling opportunities

    Sales Management
    • Responsible for achieving monthly/quarterly revenue targets
    • Build sales strategy in collaboration with Manager
    • Communicate CWT's unique value proposition within the North American marketplace to drive awareness of our brand and build relationships for the long term
    • Work with your domestic and global counterparts to develop sales strategies that further our commitment to best practices and global collaboration\
    • Provide high quality sales collaterals and proposals to prospective customers, presenting our hotel standalone offer.
    • Produce and distribute introductory communication material and follow up with the aim of securing an appointment / sales visits.
    • Qualify leads within 24 hours.
    • Work closely with the Marketing support team on the submission of proposals providing information and advice as well as approving the final documentation.
    • Negotiate the terms of an agreement to close sales.
    • Ensure that the CRM/Pipeline database is kept up to date in accordance with agreed guidelines and reflects all sales activities undertaken and planned.
    • Proactively attend trade shows and networking events as required.
    • Maintain a CRM accuracy of 100%

    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business related field, Sales specialty preferred
    • High energy and passion for representing our brand
    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    • Strong presentation skills required, written and verbal
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite
    • Good knowledge of PowerPoint skills
    • Ability to use and optimize a CRM
    • Proven success in selling travel technology/software/consulting services an asset
    • Experience and knowledge of hotel sales and distribution and/or global travel management a strong asset
