    The Inside Sales Representative will primarily be responsible for creating end user demand for American Hotel products and services in our Chain Hotels (Holiday Inn, Hilton, etc.).  Associates will manage a new or existing sales territory.   The Account Rep will be responsible for a target group of customers.  The sales territory will cover a given geographic area that is subject to change.  The position will drive customer commitment by enrolling customers onto buying programs, expanding share of wallet, gaining increased customer engagement and expanding customer web utilization.  Applicant must be well organized, able to analyze sales, customers demand, business reports, correspondence, charts and spreadsheets. This position includes a base salary + uncapped commission

    Other Key Responsibilities: 

    Leverage CODE selling into all customer & corporate interactions to provide consultative account management.  Uncover customer needs and educate Corporate on the value of American Hotel as their total solution.

    Weekly and Monthly planning and execution to achieve annual strategic plan.   

    Internally responsible to represent the customer and their programs.  Responsible for forecasting, reporting, account development, opportunity assessment, overall sales growth and short term categorical revenue growth.

    Actively plan, participate and conduct meetings and business reviews, surveys, reporting and special projects.

    Learn, understand, institute and communicate company initiatives to drive sales and profit growth at a Group level

    Cross-functional and collaborative between all departments across the organization as well as external relationships

    Effectively leveraging and communicating through various applications. Using all available technology provided, including:  CRM, Yammer, Sales Wizard, and PeopleMetrics to optimize sales effectiveness.

    Qualifications Skills




    Bachelors or better.



    Cross-functional and collaborative between all departments across the organization as well as external relationships.

    Persuasive negotiator with ability to clearly communicate goals, interests, and positions during discussions.

    Successfully close sales by addressing customer concerns, and consistently moving the customer towards commitment.

    Ability to communicate product features and benefits, as well as technical specifications

    Proven successful track record in achieving and exceeding organizational sales goals.

    Promotes customer service excellence by providing superior service to each customer.

    Ability to develop rapport with client management and maintain strong working relationships to successfully exceed customer expectations.
